this is a forum thing I will do once a week maybe, but here's a forum debate idea. What is the most successful country? Through out history here's what I think.

0.Germany (Derkaiser has a gun to my head)

1.Number one is America they started out small and had a low population but they turned-out to be one of greatest country's in the world in almost all fields. There main problem I would say is there rising inequality and social issues. But largest economy and 3rd in the world in science (used to be by far #1)Coming out on the winning side on all important wars also helped them significantly. They have a huge influence in the world there corporations are every where and there massive military helps them spread there influence to all seven continents. Although they do have some social issues they have been at times the most democratic country in the planet.(accept for blacks)What I think is the biggest issue for America in maintaining there power is rising markets like China.

2.Britain has had a interesting history of conquest democracy industrialization and colonization, but there superpower days are over I put it here because Britain seems to take a course like America Superpower but declining to countries like America Germany and Russia, but they had a monopoly on industrial goods and a huge empire and still have a successful democracy.

3.China has had a Glorious past of intellectual achievement and successful states and city's, but china had a huge blip when they were to conservative with technology and fell behind Europe. What is next for them is beyond me there economy is huge but there's so many people to feed a domestic and international market that there production of goods wont stop soon but they have had economic blips

These were pretty much the ones I was thinking about as I was clicking the thread. I have nothing to argue.

I think the only real argument with your list is #3...there's a case to be made for including Japan instead. Other than that, I agree.

I have one thing to say to the charge that America has racial inequality. Bullshit. Yes we have out issues but why do people think that only crazy racism exists in America? For goodness sake Saddam Hussein murdered thousands of people because they were Kurdish, if that isn't racist I don't know what is and even during the time America had slaves we never did that ( to my knowledge ). The west was the last To use slavery and the first to abolish it

Stirring up minorities, such as blacks, has been a tactic by democrats since the 60s just like it's a common Republican tactic to make it seem as Democrats are anti Christian. Both are just stupid things made up by both major parties

China is definitely the most sucessful. 3000 years of having a huge economy , huge population and huge agriculture.

America is a lot better than Britain. It started small, and in only a few decades became a top-5 world superpower. The last time Britain did anything was 1900 (boer war). Furthermore, it esposed revolutionary democratic principles

Britain controlled half the globe, The USA got their ass kicked in Vietnam.

Britain controlled "half" of the globe for about 70 years, lost its industrial lead half-way into that, and was a American vassal by the end of WW2.

Britain was great but got there asses handed to them eventually. America is still great

Americans were beat by civilians with guns in Vietnam. British were beat by civilians with guns in American War for Independence. What's the difference?
