@ChrisCMU: Kind of makes sense for the rules to be fuzzy, though. WL isn't that big of a game yet and traction matters a ton. Just the fact that more clans are being made is good news- it means that a product/feature is being used (albeit not in a way that Fizzer intended, hopefully).
The worst feeling is when you make something and it turns out your users didn't actually want it. It's also unavoidable, since it's very hard to get a user in a cage next to you so you have to make and test assumptions constantly.
As someone else pointed out, banning any clan who references a group that once did something bad would require a near blanket ban on all historical clans.
To be honest, there's a lot bigger things to get triggered over than someone naming their clan "East India Company"
Also, it's currently impossible to report someone for using the name of a "offensive historical leader" so I'd imagine Fizzer also extends that philosophy towards clans as well.
AWF - G. Blortis's child appropriate drawings, promotion of exercise (climbing mountains), child role model Doc teaching children how to give constructive criticism of people who do things for you.
Not that this is reportable but Chris you say in your clan requirements not to have offensive sayings or pictures on profile..... You could argue that Tenshi's is a little offensive :P
