Someone is given Manager Rights and boots everyone out of a clan (or at least the other managers) and the clan image/icon and bio page get changed. then someone complains about the hijacking on the forum and then Fizzer works out what happens and deals with it.
What Happens in a Clan Hijacking?: 2016-01-26 19:37:53
1. Ignoring any bugs in Warlight, someone with Manager Rights takes away Manager Rights from the "owner" of the clan and likely from everyone else with Manager Rights, leaving them solely in charge.
2. If there were multiple other people with Manager Rights, it's impossible to find out (barring a confession) who actually hijacked the clan. It's also impossible to figure out who has Manager Rights at any given moment- only people with Manager Rights can tell who else has Manager Rights.
At this point, it's a question of willpower:
3a. If the hijacker simply wanted the clan's ID+name+etc. (i.e., they just wanted the clan, not its members), they don't have to worry about getting the clan members to stay and stick with their plan and can simply replace the ones who leave with their own crew/anyone who wants to join.
Alternatively:
3b. The hijacker didn't want to do anything beyond a simple hijacking. Over a period of time, possibly through some deals with the "owner" of the clan, they get bored and restore the owner's Manager Rights- ending the hijacking.
Or:
3c. The hijacker actually wanted to assume leadership of the clan. At this stage, it's a question of whether the owner + their supporters have enough willpower to dismantle the clan to the point that the hijacker can't actually get what they want. If there's enough of the clan that's intact and willing to cooperate with the hijacker after this phase, the hijacking succeeds and the clan has a new owner.
There's a lot of confusion during this timeframe. Usually there's forum threads trying to build support/willpower for the original ownership, issues with the clan reputation (that can result in permanent member loss), and sometimes people trying to keep the hijacking under wraps to avoid that second issue.
Source: CORP hijackings in June, July, and August + my own contemplations about taking CORP out of Kazuki's hands before he hurt himself with it; June, July, and August were scenario (3)b and the hijacking I was (not seriously) contemplating would've been a scenario (3)c. Scenario (3)a's are similar to how some clans got their start.

Or, 3d) When the hijacker just wants to fuck up the clan and/or it's reputation somehow for whatever weird reason he has in his mind. Surprisingly the most common after 3c.
Examples: The hijacking that changed CORP's stuff to nazi icons (juq?) and such, or when Semice destroyed the falcons.

Vikinger, probably has more managers than other clans in proportion to active players but everyone knows who is one, and respects that person so they don't have anonymity like in other clans.
