I'm wondering what is the criteria to define places when 3 or more players are tied with wins and losses.
Imagine that A, B anc C are tied with 3 wins and 3 losses. But A defeated B but B defeated C and C defeated A....
Do you have any idea??

ohh, yes, maybe. I thought that it may be related with other factors but I haven't found anything. Randomize the winner is a good answer.

Is there ever a case where first place is shared by multiple players (as is sometimes the case in real life games/tourneys)? Perhaps in a practice tourney (are there practice tourneys?)?

for coin tournaments Im sure there are precautions set to stop this from happening. No luck can be involved at all.
