Tabby your left wing word play is interesting but is useless to this discussion. Race is very relevant to issues today, to say that there is no way to define it is counter-intuitive. Race is defined by the way people interact with it as well as appearance and behavior; a group of black protesters beating a white man is not resolved by questioning the legitimacy of race as we know it. It is resolved by addressing the actual issues with race.

No, there should be no attempts to "abolish" race. Despite what some tumblr word gymnasts might tell you, race exists and is a defining factor in world conflicts. People originating from different regions not only look different but think and act differently. There is no one size fits all model of society that can accommodate anyone from any background. That's why multicultural states fail and one group ends up prevailing. Look no further than Yugoslavia, South Africa, or the Roman Empire.

The majority of countries have societies that serve a single race or ethnic group with the notable exception of white/European countries. Nigel Farage is right, Britain and the rest of Europe needs to seriously look at their immigration situation and realize Europeans have no future if the current patterns continue. Like I said before, multiculturalism always fails. If Europeans don't hold on to their power in their own countries, they will be subjugated by African and Middle Eastern immigrants. One racial group always prevails, it's the nature of human civilization. You can't find me one example of a racial encounter in the past where both races lived harmoniously in the same settlements.

Race is kinda like god and other superstitious beliefs. Even though it doesn't exist in reality, a lot of people believe it does. That belief alone is not what 'race' would be if it existed. To say that people act according to their beliefs in 'race' does not provide evidence for 'race', it provides evidence for 'belief in race'. Just like people praying to a god doesn't provide evidence of an actual god.

A race is a group of people whose genes can be traced back to certain ancestors with certain biological factors. I don't understand how it doesn't exist.
