Also, sorry it's a day late this week.

Very odd place.

In the US, a college student went there. However, it is illegal to blow gum in public in Singapore (or something similar), and was arrested and caned by the government of Singapore.

When he returned to the US, he attempted to sue the nation for physically injuring him (the caning was not severe).

Aside from the eventual kebab-tier of crazyness in their laws, it's one of the countries that really attracts me. Singapore is probably one of my #1 picks for a place to live whenever I have teh monies.

The climate is pretty fair, it's very urban and still keeps a lot of great views of the ocean.

wonderful place. Harsh laws, but keeps it clean and nice. Far safer and more respectable than DC or LA.
