If you want another example of a doped American in Olympic games then you have plenty others: Rick DeMont, GOld medal winner at Swimming, Mark Cameron weightlifter, Bonnie Dasse and Jud Logan in the 1992 olympics, Mary Stanley in 1996 for Athletics, Jerome Young Gold medal winner in 4x400 in 2000, Chrystal Cox, Tyler Hamilton, Gold winner in Athletics in 2004, etc etc.

Actually, if you clearly look at the numbers of people doped by nationality recently, the Americans are outnumbering by far the Russians.

Now again, before posting irrelevant stuff and attacks about another nation, see yours first. This is not the first time that some people of the US point others whereas they are clearly not doing better, or even worse.

Someone like Mark Cameron would be a better example if he would have won a medal. I think the best example of an American doper would be Marion Jones, but he was from the 2000 Olympics and got stripped, anyway.

That's not an ad hominem attack, I am actually launching a crusade against American Jingoism, not against you. Before I participated threads centered on the glorification of the US were very common, now it had to be stopped. Many people like me, Kreto, Juq, Hitsch, Dr Love, Chuck Norris, and the list goes on, are bored of this.
I do not care if you are French or not, I many times criticized my own country, and I am far from being a patriot, I already explained why if you took attention on it. Sadly many of you can't conceive and accept criticism against your nation, I am not necessarily pointing you, but people like Conservative, GeneralPE or Eklipse.

And you still do not see that Jai's comment was also a poor move? You are criticizing my participation whereas all started with Jai bashing the Russians with no apparent reasons, respect others, and clean up your own backyard before judging others with a condescending manner.

How is pointing out that the Russians doped (which was confirmed by NGOs and Olympic Investigations) "bashing them". If that's called bashing Russia, you may as well as start a war with facts. I could have mentioned that USA and China dope, but that was irrelevant since we were talking about Russia winning the most medals at the Sochi Olympics. Get over yourself. Jai, say I am supporting France but you see when some of you were bashing it in Conservative's thread about wars led by France (from there I quote "a non relevant nation"), I did not participated at all. But if the same comment would have been made towards the US, then there would have been dozens of raging and outraged comments attacking it. The simple example of the British petition, and the overreaction after this shows that many of you are too serious and extremist about anything dealing with patriotism and nationalism.
