Believe it or not, but joining the ladder at specific times to get specific opponents and more importantly, to avoid matchups you feel you won't win is quite different than just joining and playing whoever you get matched against.

But when you're first place, undefeated and you beat everyone below you, why would you feel you'd lose against someone?
And getting paired up with better teams, shouldn't it be the opposite of gaming? You're more likely to lose against a team who's #2 than any other.

Not going to debate that ladder, but the template will be voted on by Div A regardless. Still, you can't make me vote for it :)

Wouldn't it be a good idea if a Clan League Template thread was made where clans and the general community can voice their opinions and let people voice their ideas and pick the best ideas and have them on discussion? I don't like the idea that a very selective, A basic philosophy would be to have a thread let the community or clans voice their opinions about the templates, Move the best ideas into selection for vote.

Basically, Let the other clans have a voice and submit ideas and have the clan league council decide what is best.

I think that's what they have now.

If I'm not mistaken, any clan can nominate a template, and the A League-rs vote on them.

@Platinum - no, it is not a good idea to have the general community vote on the templates. We'd end up with some bad templates I suspect.

However, anyone can nominate a template, and it will be voted on by the leaders in A. If you want to argue that it should be less exclusive (like A and B vote), that could be an option. But I like the idea of the people who have played CL a while (which it takes to get into A and/or B) deciding what is good for the league.

I do agree with sentiments that we need more variety. BUT, to replace a 3v3 on EU, you need a viable alternative. We won't opt for variety at the expense of quality.

What will happen in the trim down item I mentioned is we'll take all the 3v3 RoR templates (an example) and find the best one. Otherwise if there are 6 RoR templates fairly similar, they'd all split votes and have no chance at winning a spot.

Well I was trying to mention that the community could put the ideas forward and let the Council decide from that which I think is what is happening in this thread?

I personally word prefer it to be exclusive to A and B for the clan league council I think A and B are clans who have been here since it first began so it would be nice :)

I can assure you that there won't be an auto distribution 2vs2 template next season.

@Ox - I played in CL2, but not 1 (was not in P yet). apex, AHol and Warlighters have played CL 1-7, though WL has not been in A the entire time, and now AHol won't be in CL8.

Ah, WLers yeah. Missed them. Deliberately excluded AHoL because I was counting potential CL8 clans, and AHoL not being one of them.

Commanders auto distribute please. Also when will season 7 end?
