Also, environmental scientists have a bad record. Our atmosphere is wayyy too complex to simplify it like they do.

They also banned CFC's changing nothing (except it caused plenty of unnecessary deaths).

To be fair, even if guns were fully illegalised in America, they're still going to be gotten from a black market. I think the guns/weapons industry is one of the few things that needs to be nationalised. Also, most folk who own guns don't have a fire extinguisher - they can't really say they are carrying guns for shielding their life and family.
