So after seeing the show Revolution i would like to see what people think about modifying a world map to be like the show, basic diplo rules however the scenario twist.

So Custom Scenario on a map. Otherwise, making the same map with different names is redundant .

You could do it for sure (I've seen every episode). You could possibly use one of the current US maps, but the bonuses would have to match up correctly or simply use a per territory bonus. Also, I would suggest local deployments since movement is so limited in the show (with no power). I would put airlift cards in though to accommodate the few powered vehicles there were. I would give it a shot but I don't have local deployments yet. When I get it (is it level 48?) i will do a custom scenario though.

It wouldn't be hard to distribute the land this way to start out:

I think local deployments and 1 army per territory would work well.

I would prefer one in between that and United States big though. Maybe like 500-1000 territories total at most (the 250 doesn't really get you what you need to play it right). I thought someone was working on a USA one in that range?

BTW, I am getting pretty far on this map. I am just making a medium USA map (in between the 200 and 3,000 territory ones we have). I will also be adding some city bonuses (that can be used or not used) to add some flexibility to it.

A map would give me intrigue to the show. Being Texan, I'm already interested with the thought of the 2nd Republic of Texas.
