If I wanted a story, thought or philosophy I'd have read a book. If I listen to music, I want emotions... and the most intense emotions possible.

Just my opinion anyways.

Jazz is music for the soul and is one of the biggest parts of American culture, so yes, I love jazz. You can't go wrong with Davis, Coltrane, Brubeck, etc.

@Death - there are instrumental versions for some music with lyrics (in the instrumental variant it's just music )

Dude, opera and jazz are some of the best genres out there.

Michael Buble is an awesome modern jazz artist but the oldies are always the best. Nobody did it like Nat King Cole or Davis

^ every time I hear this song I want to turn down the lights, sit in my arm chair, and just let the music take hold of my soul. Jazz truly is soul music, it's a connection it institutes with your enter being that makes it a very popular genre for the people who like it
