Is it even allowed? If so, I wouldn't mind getting a petition signed for it. Alligators, bath salt cannibals, pythons, giant bugs, and pretty much anything weird that the other states don't have/do. It's the distant cousin that's always at family reunions and everyone secretly hates, and probably wasn't even invited the past 5 years but showed up, anyway.

California's a lost cause, too. It's on fire, falling off, and turning into dust all at the same time. And Maine wants to join Canada. If we recruit Puerto Rico, then we'd be able to keep an even number, at 48. So what say we kick out Florida, physically cut off California from the mainland, give Maine to Canada, and *have Puerto Rico become a 48th state?



*I don't think Puerto Rico would like having their unique independence being taken away, which is one reason why it isn't a state, already. So it's more like making Puerto Rico become a state, not letting them.
