I have been having serious performance issues playing Warlight since the introduction of the in-game adverts.
I am just playing single player vs the AI but the game gets progressively slower each round. During the first couple of rounds before any adverts are loaded FlashPlayer is taking 5% of total CPU, once the advert loads the FlashPlayer is taking 80%+ CPU. As the game progresses even selecting a map area can take a couple of seconds to respond. This is making the game virtually unplayable.

I am using Firefox 24.0 and Flash Player 11.8 r800 on Windows 7.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Just refresh the page (via the browser, not the refresh button in game) every now and then, I've experienced similar problems playing on Google Chrome and this has helped.

I personally don't care for Firefox/Flash combo. I always have problems with Flash player in Firefox so I try to avoid it if possible. I play this game in Chrome and have no issues at all.

Have you tried playing in a different browser by chance? That would give you a good indication of what the problem might be/might not be if so.

Hardzim, sorry but refresh from the browser sends me back to the Single Player menu.

Guiney, thanks, just tried this in IE and everything seems to be running fine. (I'm not a big fan of Chrome)
