WL seems especially slow this week. Is it springbreak at all the schools that's causing it? Passover and Easter trips? Has everyone caught Troll/Doushi/Gaia disease and started playing 1 turn a week?
I have 20+ open games and got to make moves in two of them today.

I think it has slowed down considerably normally when I'd turn on the PC I'd have to make a move in 20/30 of my open games today its 10

Portal 2 release, I bet! (It's very good.) Easter weekend is also probably part of it - I know I'm going out of town for it and WarLight always dips around the holidays.

Actually I checked and there's no dip in overall traffic at all. Perhaps a couple of your friends just happened to be absent.
I tend to invite my fast-playing friends to almost all of the games I make (slow ones get fewer invites), and I recall a time when one of my fast friends went absent for a couple days and suddenly almost every one of my games was stalled.

Pink, who in their right mind would take the Knicks over the Celtics this year...easy money. Denver was doing well after the Melo trade, and I thought they would be a tough draw for OKC.

You're right Fizz. It's 1 player in most of the games.
I also thought the ladder games were ending slower than usual, but they're about on average too.

I'm actually from Belgium, I watched it through League Pass at 2AM-5AM at night shortly after having formatted my hard drive. :-)
And my guess/hope would be a 4-0 for OKC, Denver is good, but too inexperienced in my opinion. With the game on the line, Durant and Westbrook can step up for the Thunder, but I've yet to see a Denver player who can do that consistently. I'm rather fearing the Spurs in the 2nd round (although I hope Memphis can give them a serious scare and maybe wear them out a bit).
Boston, they won't get far without a proper big man and the stats don't lie, they need either Perkins back (too bad, he's ours now!) or Shaq and at this moment a considerable amount of healty minutes by Shaq is as unlikely as Perkins returning to Boston. (hey, maybe in the finals, I'd sign for that!)
@ all my annoyed ladder opponents: I'll be taking my turns tomorrow morning when I'm not as sleepy as I am now, I don't want to stall!

I'm actually a fan from around the time of the relocation, I loved the play of Kevin Durant at that time, so I started to follow the team more. The underdog, coming from 3-29 to finish the season 23-59, I kinda liked that. And once you start to follow them more, you discover they really are a great team, nice guys who know how to play.
So no ties, they were basically the team I thought 'most interesting' when I started to follow the NBA more intensively. I also kinda like (but not as much) Dallas (Nowitzki, Kidd), Phoenix (Nash) and Chicago (Noah) and I would still like the T-wolves if they wouldn't make an art out of losing.
And our only 'Belgian' in the NBA isn't exactly a great player (DJ Mbenga, back-up center of NOH, previously of the Lakers, Dallas and GSW; double nationality: Belgian and Congolese) so I don't really care for him. I'm more interested in some other (better) European players like Nowitzki, Noah, Gasol, Milicic or Sefolosha.
I agree on OKC not making the finals though, I give them 10% or so, although in the west a lot is possible if the Lakers don't wake up in time.
(quite off topic discussion)

i hate the way europeans play like dirk, gasol, bonner, etc. Almost all of them can fit under the generalization of no athleticism, great jumper, bad defense, flopper, always complaining to refs, soft, finesse players.

^you can throw Barggani in there while your at it.
For the most part I agree with your generalization there pink. Although I have to say that for myself I hate the athletic, great defending, horrible shooting Americans who get all their points on dunks and blocks (most overrated plays in sports).

lol, I can agree on the generalization too, but at least most of them are better players than Mbenga!
I agree on NuckLuck too though, although numbers 1, 3 and 5 in blocks per game are Bogut, Ibaka and Milicic, all international players. :-)
Only on the complaining I don't agree at all, but maybe I just didn't notice yet. However, if you look at the list of technicals (freely available in the stats section of NBA.com), I don't see any European in the top 20. The highest international players are Nash, Nenê and Ilgauskas, each with 7 (and 2 of those aren't even European).
Feel free to argue about my opinion, I'm sure I'm seeing things differently because I'm not American. ;-)
And I'm hoping tonight my 4-0 prediction for OKC-Denver will come true. If my computer isn't lagging too much, I may even be able to take some turns during the time-outs.
(although unlikely, this is the first time ever that I had a computer turning out worse after a reformat, battery life reduced to 10 minutes, CPU constantly at 100%, overheating when watching a movie)
