big ones tend to work best and i find if you want more wars, dont use a map where each bonus is a territory because wars will be fought over split bonuses on maps where territory doesnt equal bonus

I disagree, bonses per territories tend to make better Diplos, cos players can fight over certain areas, you can have border disputes, and players can decide on what they want their country to look like. Fighting over countries is like like any other game, and can also lead to imbalance.
