@falconguy, and anyone else wondering why they are actively seeking weak and strong players alike:
It's just a scam, plain and simple. The money of strong and weak players alike all spends the same, which is why they want both. I'm going to go out on a limb here, and postulate that they are seeking paying players of intermediate skill, as well.

If it is possible to get into the clan for free (and I doubt it is), there is only way that would happen. That is if they think that person can recruit more paying members, generating more income for them (or more likely one person with multiple accounts). Shareholders have zero influence, and all the money goes directly into Adrian's greasy pockets.
Another conjecture: Many of "them" have Trump's picture, because they know Trump's supporters are less intelligent and more easily swayed by scams (and aren't very good at grammar. Coincidence?) Like, for instance, the scam that Trump is currently running with his presidential candidacy.
A final conjecture: After "they" get as many paying members that they think they can get, they will reuse everyone's credit card information that they got when they paid using "a secure third party site" and charge them as many times as possible before abandoning their accounts and making off like the thieves they are.
