To everyone who is questioning Fizzer's action:

1. Just dont break the rules, be kind and you will NEVER have any problems with bans. Ion posted nudes, therefor he got banned. Salty was disrespectful to other players - got banned. They all deserved it, because they provoked it. Annoying people is not against the rules, thus harmless trolls dont deserve a ban.

2. Keep in mind that Fizzer made this website, maintains it, pays for it. Without Fizzer you would not be even here. That would be like you insulted your mother for prohibating things to you. Worship your parents. Alternately you can make your own WL-clone, maintain it, pay for it, moderate it, develope it.

It's a two-way street. Without the users all of Fizzer's work would be meaningless. Sure, a King might have absolute power but absolute power doesn't help if all the peasants revolt. There needs to be a mutual understanding.

I understand where Eklipse is coming from, but Eklipse genuinely doesn't post things that are absolute trash and are meaningless. Where as I can count all but maybe three people on this forum that aren't garbage posters.

@Des: It's not just the fact that Salty was banned which is making people angry. It's the fact that the rules seem to be getting enforced really unevenly. If the rules were being enforced equally across the board, I don't think we'd be seeing as much outrage over this.

@Eklipse If you and I were to get banned for being blunt, I'd be more upset. But again, its not like its actual preferential treatment. Its probably more based on the amount of times they get reported. Salty probably got a lot of crap for doing what he did, and guess what, if his name was on the top of the hit list, so be it.

I literally can't go anywhere on the forums without seeing someone post something completely and utterly and infinitely dumb. And honestly, I've done all that I can. There isn't much more to do when you have a clan thats literally slang off the body's anatomy.

The biggest part of the inconsistency should've been when Cumburper was forced to change their name and went to another sexual term before changing it back to Cumburper.

A few things i see in this thread...

1) zeph said he woulf be fine with a game ban if he could still banter on forums. Do you realize that is the issue? So many see the forums as primary and the game secondary (like something to kill time between OT posts). That is a big issue IMO. The boads supplement the game, not the other way around.

2) someone said it is two way street (that with no traffic, no revanue). True, but the vast majority of people would still play without the forums at all. You guys may think everyone prioritizes the boards, but most avoid them because they are mostly OT or clan banter now.

3) the bar may be lower for a ban, not sure. But back in the day you had VERY few pushing boundaries. With so many now, perhaps he has to tighten standards
