You don't have to team to do well on that sever. If you're skilled (it's not hard to be good at agar.io), you can just take #1 by making a few risky moves. Harder to hold it, but partly because it gets so boring when you're moving many times slower than you were originally. I took #1 with 3 different names in the past 30 minutes on that server without teaming, so it's not very difficult.

LOLICON was actually Angry, who is always hostile.

Also, this is because the server is basically empty now, JSA. It's a bit harder when a good team is dominating the board.

But yeah, I'm usually reaching #1 quite easily, too.
