Czech and Slovakia are Central Europe.

Well, mid-west - and I was really dividing Europe into two, there: west and east.

Czech can be either, depending on the time period's political and cultural state. Slovakia is eastern Europe though. imo

No, polit and culture has nothing to do with geographic siting.

Because it was her country that was historically responsible for the atrocities of WWII and a significant portion of the 20 million that died in Russia and its satellite states.

Let's be realistic, though - it's surprising she went.

I encourage other folk to put theirs in, too, and fill in the blanks.

Chart updated.

To be frank, this is a very biased sample.

I agree with Жұқтыру.

The margin of error is 37 percent, and that's if we assume the sample was random, which it wasn't as the internet and warlight may tend to attract people with some specific stances in many political views, so it's probably much higher then 37.

But we can just say it is for population: Warlight forumers (who care), and with more folk comes less mistake margin.

I calculated it based on the average difference between liking each candidate - I know it's less accurate than doing it frain by frain or by themes - but this has better work:worth ratio.

@Жұқтыру

The margin of error depends on the confidence interval. I used one of 95% (most polls use this one).

Margin of error at 95 %: 0,98/sqrt(N).

This formula will give us a margin of error of 37 percent if we have N=7.

Oh, well, 90% was good enough for me; frankly, 80% should be good enough, for this casual poll.

(also, wrong myself - 32%* with 90%, mistyped something in the calculator).

You are good with stats, did you used to be in the stats clan?

I was Conservative, but a very Centrist one. Which seems to fit me.

As I learn more and more about how the heck the US works, Republicans seem a lot more logical than I before thought.
Since I grew up in a Democratic state (Connecticut), I always thought/slightly enforced "Democrat= good". Then I believed that most Republicans were just greedy religious people.

I seem to be a Centrist, as other polls I have taken show me as a Centrist, but closer to the democratic views. Ah well.

West is not a religous or politic adjector. Just geographic. And it is in the east, not at all in the west, geographically.

If you take Russia out of the picture, Czech is slab dap in the middle of Europe, and Czech has been viewed as "west" and "east" in different time periods. So yes, cultural and political aspects do have an impact on which "side" it's on, since it's really in the middle.
