(1) Have a gold trophy from a ladder

(2) Have high all-time best ranks in at least two ladders: 

1v1 (top 3)
2v2 (top 2)
3v3 (top 2)
Seasonal (top 5) 
RT ladder (top 3)

(3) Or be a major reason why your clan won Clan League A

I'll play if you need people to win

Organization:

1. Next weekend I'll make a chat game with 24 players to ask about templates.
2. Next, we'll vote on the templates to be used. Let's assume it takes one week to vote.
3. Then I'll use some website to divide players into random groups of 4 based on the numbers above (who joined first).
4. Last, I'll make the 1v1 RRs (one game at a time) and 2v2 games and we play Round 1.

So, we have another week to wait and see who wants to play. If there are more than 24 people who qualify for automatic participation, priority will be given to players with the best ladder stats (2v2/3v3 > 1v1, since the Championship Round has more team games than 1v1s).

Let's assume it will take about 15 days before games begin.

How long do you think this will go? I have until about November.

Rounds 1 and 2 have 3 1v1s and 3 2v2s. They should be relatively quick.

I am interested, however I feel like I'd be playing the role of some middling/lower team like Valencia or Man U. I doubt I'd automatically qualify. Ooh, will you have playoffs to get in just like the real champions league?

(Requirement 3 is tenuous at best for me, I won 100% of my clan league B games but MoD was a big reason for that)

I have #4 on 2v2 ladder and #6 on 1v1, for the record. Still love the idea of a home-and-away playoff.

A request, when you finalize the template list, can you list games played on the template rather than the template itself? It's way easier to see the settings from a game unfortunately.

It could be revived but I'd use different auto acceptance criteria

* Only use 1v1 ladder and seasonal ladders
* Add in other factors like minimum WGL tournaments won, WSOW season 1/2 ranking (or maybe just tournament wins), Promotion/Relegation league wins or time spent in group A, [20] league wins, etc - any leagues & major tournaments i am missing?
* Only count clan league 1v1 records in group A

stuff like this. diverse criteria focusing on individual performance. and playoffs if your pool of players is greater than 24.

but if you guys like the existing criteria and we can get one more to join, it's just a matter of setting up the tournaments according to the original rules

But it's only been a week, Gui has been finicky with his warlight appearances in the past lol.
