I'll friend you, I think what you're refering to is "modern world" type Diplos, which I very rarely run, as you say, they can be a bit boring and overplayed.

If you mean something like Ox is suggesting - a similar game style to the Diplomacy boardgame - then I have a special template for that. (Using a few weirdo settings to enable that style of play.)
Or maybe you mean something else? What is "Classic Diplomacy"?
