What kind of stats? I just did this in excel, would be easy enough to do simple stuff for you if you like :)

Hi everyone. Here is the P/R Guide for season 5 of the Small Earth League.

As there are very few withdrawals/inactive players in the higher groups (A-D) this season, there will be no double-promotions in the higher groups. Where a player has withdrawn, there will be less relegations.

10 player group. 1st-7th remain in Group A. 8th-10th relegate to Group B.

graemes, I'm not sure what your program you used, but it doesn't seem to agree with mine...

For example, you have placed me as a gauranteed demotion, yet it is still possible for me to promote if I win all my remaining games...

If you would rather do this job then I am happy to yield it to you however...

I was about to make my program open access so people can check in real time, but if you were already working on something then I don't want to step on any toes, to be honest I didn't check back in the previous pages to see if anyone had already done this... but I'm happy to give you my forumlas in mail if you want to speed up the process.

I didn't mean to step on any toes, if this is something that you want to do then please go ahead. I'll let you do updates from now on, especially since you can post inline images to this board.

Honestly I think there are too many matches at the same time, I forget what's going on in each one because there are so many, and just end up taking longer. Maybe it's just me, but could we please limit these to more like 2 or 3 at a time? Then I can focus on each one more and play then through much faster.

If it's just a problem with me and maybe I'm just not good enough to keep track of all these, I think I'm in like 6 games still... O_O) then I will just leave the league, if no-one else feels the same then I don't want to change anything, obviously, but I've seen a few players also struggle with this, so it would be nice to see if things can be improved.

I find it pretty easy to get my head back into a game by doing a quick check of the game's history before submitting my turn. Also, you couldn't be in more than 5 games at once. With 3 day boot times, you should be able to just focus on 1-2 games where it's your turn each day and keep up fairly easily.

3 games at a time will make the league run really slowly (like the P/R League which can take months for a season) and since this league has larger groups it will drag out the season for too long. We need all the groups to finish within a reasonable space of time so those that finish early are not waiting for months for the slower groups to finish before being able to play the next season.

I like having a large amount of games also. I spent less than 5 minutes/turn and managed 8 wins

Yeah it's a bit much but I don't think it should be changed. Just do a quick review of the history before you take your turn, there's usually not that much to think about on this small map.

Group A: Finished

After an epic win against BenSeu, Master Bjarke just needed to win his final game to claim 1st, but fell to Gibs in a tight battle. With that result, huddyj claims the title of League Champion for the 4th consecutive season! slejer beats smileyleg, thus avoiding the wooden spoon, however both players will relegate.
