Regarding restoring the Warlight Wikipedia page, this seems as if it could be of help.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_policy#Undeletion

Also, the reason it was listed for deletion seems to be the lack of reliable sources. These links were within Belgian Gentleman's previous link to the Warlight Wikipedia page deletion discussion, but it seems as if this could be helpful to place the links within this forum too.

A point listed in the deletion discussion was that the links listed on Warlight's Wikipedia page were not notable. As such, we should see that references follow the notability guideline: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability#General_notability_guideline

This link talks about the use of reliable sources for Wikipedia pages on videogames and give a large list of reliable and unreliable sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Sources

@DanWL: There isn't that much benefit for WarLight to have it's own Wikipedia article. Wikpedia links get ignored in Googles pagerank and a player reading a Wikipedia article about WarLight probably already knows about WarLight.

I haven't looked into the details however for me the best + easiest way to place WarLight in the Wikipedia is in the existing "Risk (game)" article.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_(game)

At first sight the sections "Risk clones" and "Computer and video games" look quite weak to me. I (like probably quite some others) found WarLight as they were seaarching for a computer implementation of the Risk game.

I think https://www.warlight.net/Press is usefull too. Also ^Norman has a good point. That would actually reach potential WL-players.

The problem with that is that it's a primary source (i.e. something that Fizzer wrote himself). Wikipedia articles requires the vast majority of the sources to be secondary sources as a method to determining notability.

You should write a wikipedia-article entitled "How to make your 'opinion' irrelevant in three simple sentences".

Touché.

@Clement, By useful I really only meant this part.

According to a press release Warlight has "more than 8,800,000 multi-player games played" [ref.]

That makes it relevant (for Wikipedia), I would say.
