1vs1:

You waste armies on neutrals. On 0% SR, attack neutrals of 2 with 3. Avoid hitting them with smaller amounts. There are situations where it's beneficial to do different, but in general it is best to hit with 3. Avoid to take nedless territories too.
Hitting a stronger enemy with only 1 threatening border on first order is bad too.

(Game 3 you were fucked on pick you got. nothing you could really do from there).

About the 1v1: Do not pick wastelands, unless you got a really good reason. Leave that to experienced players.

In your 1v1:

Also place 6 picks so if you don't get one of your starting three you have a backup

Never pick a territory that is in the same bonus as a wasteland ( 10 army neutral )

try getting bonuses as fast as possible, smaller bonuses are better to get first, then try bigger ones



regarding your 3v3 games i'm no expert, however in "italys war light game" there are 0 armies neutrals so you only have to attack with 1 or 2 troops, you expanded with three which halted your expansion

Generally in 1v1 games, once you have found your opponent, you want to start focusing on attacking them rather than continuing to expand.
It's fine to still expand once you've found your opponent, but if you only expand and ignore your opponent (like you did in that 1v1 you linked) your opponent will quickly steamroll you and destroy all your bonuses.

Boat, you shouldn't focus on your ennemy in an 1v1, it's better to hold the line and analyse the situation while continuing expanding rather then wanting to engage at all costs. It's too easy to beat an over agressive ennemy.

That being said, you shouldn't just expand.

^ Yeah, I always play too aggressively especially when I'm trying to speed a match up, and it rarely works, defending usually gives you the advantage, I tend to try and play to "control" more of the map that my opponent, then you can always take bonuses more safely if you need them.
