Not really, if you reduce the supply, prices raise. Great economics law; only rich criminals would be able to afford guns then.
You're reducing the supply by a bit, when there's millions of guns and you can make lots of guns with some basic tools. And only rich criminals? No many criminals, especially since gangs have vast supplies of money to equip their dealers and soldiers. Formerly law abiding gun owners will also join the ranks of the criminals aswell, and they can sell many of the guns they haven't reported. Your idea is based on guns being a scarcity in America and that the Blue Shirts confiscating them will make them even more of a scarcity, but that is a falsehood.
Hardly. People who commit suicide are often affraid of doing so. Guns are the easier way to kill yourself while suffering the least.
Not hardly at all, if I remember the most common way for people to kill themselves is via overdose.
The thing is that both are avoidable, and that's the point. Mass shootings are harder to happen if every kid don't have a gun at home, and terrorism isn't as likely to happen if every muslim kid is given the same opportunities in the country.
Both are avoidable, but at a massive cost to liberty for millions of people in the US. The Patriot act , F.E, was a awful thing made by the government that massively restricted freedom for humans in America and the war on terror enabled by many of the freedom cutting-government expanding things has generally failed and only brought tens of thousands of deaths and no good results.
