Erdogan is a pathetic man that wished he was a dictator. He asked Germany to take that video down. Shame on Europe that makes deals with such a man because of political commodity instead of condemning him for his actions.

Same thing can be said for Jinping, Modi, Obama, and many others. This is only a small one.

Obama can't be compared to Xi, Modi and Erdogan in terms of authoritarianism. Sure, he's not a great leader when it comes to civil liberties, but he's far better then the other ones.

Unless you're a Muslim that the CIA just abducted. Or a teenager that just got shot by the police.

Eh.....he's worse than Erdogan. What Erdogan is doing is anti-free-press, but that's already been phased in and done in America, with the government owning all the news that's any bit important. He's close to Modi, too, and a Republican president (Mitt Romney) would almost certainly be worse than Modi.

Some press people actually said that the news has to be approved by the CIA.

^ Hell not it shouldn't.

Xұқтыру, if you had to choose between living on the US under Obama or Romney, or Xi's China, Erdogan's Turkey and Modi's India, which one would you choose? It's undeniable that the US has more freedom than the other ones.

Major, Muslims being abducted by the CIA is a shameful problem that exists since the war on terror begun. Obama has been trying to shut down Guantanamo, which is a horrible thing, but he has indeed failed to stop the CIA from continuing those terrible things. About the police, you can hardly blame that on Obama really. The police is a thing that states/cities should control, or at least Congress should try to pass bills to avoid power abuse as well as racial discrimination made by police officers, but everyone knows that's not really gonna happen.

When they said it has to be approved, they meant it already needs a approval from the CIA.

Actually the only press that needs government approval is on military actions, also Obama tried to stop all those things India oppresses Muslims more, he spoke out against the police and Guantanamo, and finally the media in the us is more free then virtually any other in the world, seriously name one

America's media isn't that free actually. It has a satisfactory situation, but it's not in a good one:

@TeamGuns I actually wouldn't be too mad with living in Modi's India. It wouldn't be bad, since I'm male.

I don't speak hardly a word of Chinese, nor Turkish, nor Hindi, so America. But if I could, probably still America, as it has the least racism/violence/crime. But if that weren't a factor, either, then probably it would be a tie between Modi and Obama. Now, if it was Romney, Modi wins, for sure.

What's with all the Mitt Romney hate? He was a flawed candidate, sure, but he's far from the worst thing U.S politics has produced.

Mitt Romney in his book, I think it was called "No Apology: A Case for American Greatness" (an interesting read, even if it is full crap), criticised Obama for apologising for American, in short, mistakes in the past, and also criticised Obama for giving this vague answer when asked if he believes in American exceptionalism: "I believe in American exceptionalism, as I strongly suspect Brits believe in British exceptionalism and Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism.". He said he does, but it's nothing too special, as everyone believes they're exceptional, of course a third the Republican group hates how Obama is trying to convert America into an Islamic theocracy.
