Can't play this week, I'm camping, I'm going to put my EoC 1v1 Template in for next week, I believe EoC won Map of the Week.

Wow I don't like the template(map seems big to me) but will play if I have time!

The template is great really, I've tested it, it's very funny. I didn't really like the europe map before I played this template.

I will try it tomorrow hopefully it has same effect on me

Quick look over the template shows that Italy doesnt obey the rules given, it should give 7 armies per turn as it has 10 territories.

You could of joined with an invite, but somebody invited all of darklords.

Thanks for the tournament guys, Really enjoyed my first win in this series!

Just want to say one thing that was discussed at the end of the stream:

* I personally believe WGL games should be 3 minute games with 7 minute banked time! In that tournament above ^ I was using all of my banked time making picks but I didn't need 5 minutes to go through each turn in play. I think This is the perfect setting for WGL games in general and to save some energy on the commetators. This goes for players as well, Playing for near 4 hours is just not ideal. Basically the whole day is gone and there needs to be games to be shorten as much as possible with out the competitive element falling.

Despite all the crap you take for templates and otherwise, I think people really like playing every week. I also think 3 min + 5 bank would be appropriate; 8 minutes should be enough time for picks and then 3 minutes with a little left over bank should be fine for play. If people can't make that work and get booted, oh well.

I think you'd lose a lot of viewers with a break. Styxie suggested that you've been having trouble getting people to commentate with you, but if you can pick up some new commentators here and there like Styxie and Gustave today and perhaps rotate the main person week to week to give yourselves a break, maybe it wouldn't seem like such a drag. You might have more fun too if you knew that every other week you could just play for fun and leave if you wanted too.
