I make poor picks intentionally. Of course I will sometimes lose to inferior players as a result. Auto-games wouldn't be fun if I just curb stomped people every time.

Think of it like playing with a handicap in golf. I look at their stats and then handicap myself accordingly with my picks.

Sometimes vs noobs who have like 1 wins in 27 tries, I make my picks in the 3 worst spots I can find on the map.
