Well, gays exist. Lesbians and bisexuals too, and Transexuals do exist. Now intersex folk are the blokes/blokettes that are like hermaphrodites. Then there's queer, which is a useless all expansive word. Then there's questioning folk, I don't see a problem with them questioning their attractions. Finally there's allies , and they're just blokes who support the LGBT+ folk. It's not really a bunch of made up stuff.

It should just be LGBT+ though.

Just use queer as an umbrella term. And how the fuck does "ally" become part of it? That is like saying white people against racism suddenly become part of the black community.
