Its kind of random I know, but I've come to the conclusion I gotta quit WL. I actually realized I had to do it when talking to my Microbiology Professor. He was telling me how at my age he was already preforming ABTS assays to determine total antioxidant capacities in organically grown food sources. The point is...I have to focus on my work and studies, and WL is the first thing on the chopping block to make some more time available. I had hoped to stay until August, but if I keep delaying it I realize I will probably never leave (which is an even scarier thought). This game is seriously addicting (props to Fizzer for making me spend hours of life on this website lol).

There's a lot of people to thank for the great diplomacy and strategic games, the OT drama and political arguments, and for the good laughs and pleasant conversations. First and foremost I would like to thank the Conservative for providing me a real experience in clan leadership, especially when I had absolutely 0 knowledge of running or growing a clan (for some reason he trusted and believed in me). I would also like to thank Lisa for being a great 2v2 partner and I apologize for forcing you to carry me in games so much. J Willy, GeneralPE, Zeph, Ox, and Apollo were great clan mates, always had my back, and I wish them all the best in life. MGSB and Juq, your political opinions were always an interesting (definitely not main stream) perspective to think about and I quite enjoyed our discussions and debates even if they weren't always so civil at the time xD. Eklipse, Darth Darth Binks, and Team Guns also deserve shout outs since they actually managed to make the OT forum not seem like a cesspool of filth and pointlessness, although DDB has to stop posting anime related topics. Mason, thanks for being my secret pal to talk to about radical and controversial topics that would get us suspended from WL on any given day. THANK YOU RIV/DEATH/LIFE for being a genuinely interesting and fun person to mail thread (you secretly convinced me you're nicer than you act on the forums), and for introducing me to Thanatos D. Ven (literally the nicest person I've met on WL and I wish him best of luck forever). I'm probably missing a few people - Knyte (contentious relationship, but he introduced me to clans), WCT (not active now), Hitchslap all challenged my perceptions (and that's something to thank people for) and may have convinced me on the merits of some arguments.

Anyway WL was really fun while it lasted. I was hoping to hit the 2 year anniversary achievement, but ah oh well :P

Well, what can I say? You'll be missed. You're a noob both strat and diplo, but you're fun to talk to and play with mostly, your forum posts and threads are interesting and your view oftentimes reflects mine, too. So it's a triple loss for me: I lost a fun buddy, my 1v1 practice dummy and the local friendly neighborhood libertarian. :P

As we're used to say, "the best people always leave first", right ?
I'd have hoped that we could have discussed more before your retirement,
but I understand your point and I know you're making the good decision for yourself.
You are one of the greatest people I've met here, and I'm glad to see that you appreciated
