Just curious what is the longest time you've taken to pick? How long do you take to pick on an average ladder game? How long does it take you to pick on a new template?

Procrastinate until 2 days 23 hours and 55 minutes usually. RTwise? I think we've spent 20-30 minutes on a EU game before discussing picks. MDwise we have sporadic conversations on skype regarding EU picks. Sometimes it's easy sometimes we disagree on certain picks and it sparks a debate.

~30-40 min in a EU game only to pick. We lost that game...

MD, I'm pretty sure I've picked 2d 23h more then once.

2h on MD Strat 1v1 (with breaks, obv.)

yeah 30 minutes to pick in RT euro 3v3. 2 days 23 hours 58 minutes cause I was stalling while playing this asshole.

However I once waited an hour for someone for an hour to play a turn(not picking) in an RT autogame. He needed to do something an I wasn't doing anything so I waited while playing other games of course. I wouldn't beable to do that now though due to autoboot.

For picking stage, I generally commit after 2 days on all ladders, and I generally look at the board briefly 1-2 times without committing before I make my picks.

1v1 ladder: I spend 5-30 minutes deciding on picks, with 10-15 probably being the average.
2v2 ladder: 10-45 minutes, probably (including coordinating with team)
3v3 ladder: It's easy to spend an hour+ making picks and coordinating with your team. I've probably spent 2-3 hours on at least one ladder game, planning picks.
Seasonal ladder: 5-45 minutes generally, spending 20+ against top players.

About 2 minutes on RT strat 1v1. 10-30 minutes on 3v3 EU (if I commit straight away).

I rarely think longer than 3 minutes about my picks, so probably 5 minutes is my max.

With exception of the 2v2 ladderrun I had with Hennns, we used to discuss longer than 5 minutes :p.
