We have gold trophies for beautiful maps. I think Warlight should recognize people who make significant contributions to Warlight from a programming perspective as well.

Muli's script has been around for a long time now and he has made many additions to it over time. Everyone who has used it raves about it.

I think he deserves a gold trophy for the contribution.

(Of course I also think it would be great if his work could be integrated into the actual build so that people don't have to download it separately)

Definitely deserves some official recognition, whether it's a trophy or something else like a 'thank you' page for special contributors or something. Oooh, maybe Fizzer could make some sort of periodic award, like a yearly or seasonal award for special contributions, like an 'Oscar' for Warlight: Best Userscript, Spring 2016; Best Custom Single-player Level, Summer 2016; like that. Call 'em the Fizzy awards or something (user poll for a good name).

This reminds me: Nothing's stopping the community itself from doing something like this, and if there's some good support, then we could make a wiki page or two to collect the results of whatever community awards people come up with.

While Muli's script is cool, I personally don't use it for a couple reasons.

1) is browser specific (must set up on all devices/browsers you use, so you have to ignore threads in every environment).

2) You end up with like 3 items on a forum page, but it does not pull additional items from other pages to fill void.


I think it is fantastic, but if we could solve those issues (maybe that requires Fizzer), I would be totally on board with a gold trophy for an exceptional contribution to the site.

Muli's script does do that, but you can disable that if you don't like it. However it does so many other things that can each be individually turned on or off.

Yes. But that's not really a drawback when compared to not having the script at all, since you can't ignore threads at all otherwise. He also has an option to automatically exclude the OT forum from All forums.
