I saw another player post a chat message that just had two words, the names of two territories-however, they were blue and underlined(like any link), and clicking on one would show you where it was on the map.How can I post a message like that?

Hold the CTRL key and click the bonus or territory you wish to refer to.

^ Actually Ctrl or Shift, doesn't matter in 1vs1 or FFA's.
But in case of team games, Ctrl for Team chat, Shift for Public chat.
