In the tennis world there are 4 Grand Slam tournament on 4 different surfaces.
What do you think, what 4 templates would be the 4 Grand Slam surface in Warlight?
I mean, what is the 4 most important/played templates we can say about they are the 4 Warlight Grand Slam? I mean, who can win all of them, he make the Grand Slam?

Can be for example MA and LD two of them? Or we should find the categories along SR - WR? Or 1vs1 - teamgames (with alts)?
2 of the templates are almost identical here but I think this is the most accurate so far? Idk if it would make for a very interesting competitions, these are by far the most overplayed templates besides RoR, except RoR has less strategic value to it (because it is generally full dist.)

But I see the issue. I mean, the multi attack settings for example completely change the gameplay, so it would be perfect for a different "surface", but the problem with it, that this setting is not so important/often played. Same the local deployment.
Good answer by knyte, Warlight Grand Slam now can be the gold trophies. Only problem that the ladders are not good enough (wrong settings, can be gaming for trophies, etc.)

Making the settings too new and strange would be like changing one of the grand slams to play on a glass surface, everyone will just be confused and it would resultin very bad poor quality games for the most of it :D
What is strange is multiattack or local deployment settings mean glass surface for many players :P
Why? Why people do not like them? They are not enough strategical?
Anyway, yes, a Grand Slam template need to be popular. So maybe two of them would be the old 1vs1 ladder setting and the present one. As US open and AO (both hard surfaces but still different a bit). But Roland Gaross (clay) and Wimbledon (grass) can't be so similar settings (only on a different map) because those two are different enough than the hard surface :P
But yes, templates should be popular and strategical. So good question, popular but different enough :)
So what settings/templates (which strategical/popular enough) can be the main (clay, grass and hard) surfaces in Warlight?
And lets find not only the 4 Grand Slam templates but the 8 Masters (ATP1000) as well :) So what are the most popular/strategical templates at all?
