After an enthusiastic win for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City tonight, it has blew the title race wide open. Leicester city's fairyland dream may come crashing down as the gap at the top is cut to 5 points, with 4 hard fixtures remaining and the dismissal of Jamie Vardy; can Leicester crawl over the finish line or will Tottenham burst the bubble. Who will win the Premier league ?

City's manager isn't great, but they are still better. In terms of player quality, City are better.

City player advantages:
De Bruyne > Herrera/Fellaini, Aguero > Rooney/Rashford/Martial, Silva > Herrera, Kompany > Smalling, Kolarov > Rojo, Toure > Schweinstager, Sterling >= Depay/Young

Equal:
Fernandinho = Schneiderlin

Utd Advantages:
Hart < De Gea, Mangala/Otamendi <= Blind, Navas < Mata

Schwienstiger when fit, is the best midfielder in the prem, without a shadow of a doubt. Marcus Rashford is one to look out for. I feel Herrera is an unsung hero at United, always performs controls the play brilliantly.

Spurs aren't big per se.

People keep saying this but I wouldn't really agree. Maybe not the largest but definitely still a big club. I don't really mind who win, would be amazing if Leicester manage to win the league but I am a spurs fan and I don't think we'll challenge for the title again for a while either so some silverware would be nice.

I think we (Spurs fan also) will have plenty of chances in the future. If we keep our young stars, we can become major force. Kane seems committed to the club, and I think we can keep Eriksen, Alli, Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and co for a couple years at least.

I don't follow the EPL as much as I used to (used to play Fantasy), but it would be nice to see a small club win for once, Tottenham have been hovering around near the top for the last couple of years. Big money is too big a problem in soccer (just look at the uncompetitive leagues of Spain and Germany).

That being said, I think the gap will further narrow, Leicester will win by a close margin is my (uneducated) guess.

I wish I could watch the EPL where I live, but sadly the main sport broadcaster in NZ cut ties with the main EPL broadcaster after the 2012-13 season from memory. But it's exciting to watch or read about the title race to say the least, it'll be close. I think that Leicester will come out trumps- it'll be a great finish considering it's their second season in the top flight- but they have to have the desire to finish strong at the end.

If we used the max points theory it would look something like this:
Leicester            85 (current 73)
Tottenham          80 (current 68)
Man City            75 (current 60)
Arsenal              75 (current 60)
So if Leicester win their next two games then Man City and Arsenal are out of the race, and if they win three they win the title.

My Opinion: If I looked at how easy each of the four teams' future fixtures are, then I'm able get a grasp on who has the easiest run to the trophy. So, here goes:
Leicester Swansea, Man Utd, Everton, Chelsea
Tottenham West Brom, Chelsea, Southampton, Newcastle
Man City Newcastle, Stoke, Southampton, Arsenal, Swansea
Arsenal West Brom, Sunderland, Norwich, Man City, Aston Villa
From my perspective it looks as though Arsenal can win four of their five matches, as I think the MC-Arsenal match might be a draw, so I think Arsenal will get 70 points. Man City can win four of theirs too and end up on 70 points with goal difference separating MC and Arsenal. Tottenham have a fairly easy run like MC and Arsenal and should win all their remaining games and end up with 80 points. But, Leicester should win against the first three teams, and scrap out a dead-rubber win against Chelsea on the final day. So, like Pulsey said, I think that Leicester will win the EPL title, albeit with a close contest

Arsenal will struggle against a Sunderland side, who are hoping they don't get relegated.

Stoke and Saints could easily drop City points.
