Fizzer want to make more money? This is more of a direct appeal to Fizzer if he's interested in making money.

Not enough clans are being made and not enough people are buying memberships. I'm pretty much estimating that Warlight isn't making enough money as you'd hope.

Your current userbase isn't generating enough sales. You need more users that are interested in making money by being a skilled player.

Make warlight more skill based. Attract people who are interested in "test of skills" games. Think of poker players, blackjack players, and so forth. Perhaps, they won't be interested in 0% luck games. Reach out to these players in the form of Facebook advertising, buying forum ads, YouTube ads through adwords, and so forth. Plenty of ways to appeal to these people.

Make warlight into the game that can make people money. Focusing on better improving a new user isn't going to work. Why? Not enough money per user. What's your costs to acquire a user? Don't know? Figure that out.

The current system of warlight is inherently bad for making money from it. Most people want to pay for free and that's it. They aren't going to click on ads. Most of them won't anyway. Check the total number of people who are on the site and what % of them actually click on ads. You have access to this information.

Instead, focus on make warlight appeal to a guy who wants to make money. The kind of guy/gal that wants to put in 300 dollars in coins or even 1000 dollars and play with other skilled players. Put higher limitations on withdrawing your cash. Emphasize that warlight is an alternative to many games that are played out there.

The game where you can make money if you're good at Risk.

It won't matter if they all leave. They aren't making you enough money. There's a lot of money in just focusing on coin games.

Acquisition costs for new users will be a lot at first. If you create compelling ads for people who want to play skill based games for money. It's well worth the investment you will make. Learn paid advertising and targeting demographics.

There's plenty of spins you can make to this. Get creative.

You honestly can't hope that by acquiring more users will result in more clan memberships, more ad revenue, and general memberships. Why not try your hand at paid advertising? Market warlight as the place to go to make that cash. Get good and win.

Coin games would still exist if Fizzer implements the idea. And, I don't play coin games. My personal dislike or like of coin games is irrelevant to monetizing Warlight better.

If Fizzer wants to take a gamble and increase the probability of generating profits from his game - he'd consider turning it gambling oriented.

I think Fizzer's already said in the past (can't remember when or where) that he can't implement any form of gambling on Warlight games because gambling is illegal in some countries and he'd be breaking multiple laws if gambling was on Warlight

Stick with areas that are legal. And, comply to any regulations that any state/country might have. Block traffic from countries that have it illegal.

Fizzer will need a good lawyer if he wants to go with this idea.

With 46% of Warlight's traffic coming from the USA, I could see why it's problematic.

The fix is simple. Ignore USA traffic.

More information of the legality of online gambling.

Fizzer should probably look at predictit.org and see how it is currently being allowed to run a political betting market.

You don't get the point. It isn't illegal to play games with money if it isn't gambling. Warlight as much as poker aren't games you gamble in. You bet in your personal skill for those, winning a warlight game isn't at all luck if you use the pure-skill settings. It's even less luck then poker.

I don't think anyone would leave warlight because more money players join the game, as long as warlight remains a game where money can't make you win more. It could actually give more to the community as a hole, as the money flow would raise. Fizzer would be able to afford better servers, maybe more staff and even afford to gie prizes in free to join competitions.

I can't see how it could be a bad thing for warlight as long as free players don't get hitted by it.

Doesn't fit within the definition of gambling but you pretty much present it as a test of skills. If you are better you will win money.

There's lottos too if people want to do a pure gamble.

You can't do a pure gamble with lottos using coins. Simply because the pure skill setting needed for coins won't allow it. With pure skill, you are required to pick your bonus, and the person that pick it faster wins in case of dispute.

That's why there is no luck at all when it comes to coin games...

I finally got your point there. There was a couple of errors made in my original post. Will be re-adjusting the post. All he'd have to do is put more emphasis on coin games and find creative ways to acquire more traffic.

I've made some incorrect assumptions. Yes, the userbase can be preserved. You wouldn't have to get rid of clans and memberships and so forth.

And, maybe run gambling games for people outside the USA.

Warlight is incorporated in Washington, USA. In that state gambling (online) is illegal, so therefore it must be on all of warlight, you can't just "ignore" USA.

Re-incorporate into another state. Plenty of ways to work around the structure of the corporation if he really wants to.

Yes, you can ignore the USA. Start a offshore account.

None of us intimately understand the corporate structures and the legality behind it. Fizzer needs a good lawyer if he really wants to go through with it.
