Very interesting news site I came across : http://www.allsides.com/ that sells itself as non partisan.

Obviously there's no such thing as total impartiality, so instead of publishing their own articles, they source all sorts of news from various outlets and sort them into different categories. Very interesting idea, surprised I haven't heard of it before.

Some trends that stand out:

1) MSM leans slight left (this is well- known).
2) There are more 'far right' papers than 'far left' or 'lean right'. Something I disagree with, I think this is just relative, since MSM leads slightly left already, so 'news' outlets like Huffington post appear \ less extreme in comparison to the general trend.

Well this really looks interesting. Thanks for sharing! Besides I'm still dreaming of a neutral newspaper to appear on the market where all the news is nuanced with pro and contra. If it exists I don't know but we really need this. In these modern times we're constantly getting fouled from biased and manipulative corporate media.

I don't recall the whole thing, where I saw this, but BBC was listed as the most neutral English-tongue news agencies by a poll (not held by BBC), out of 20 other news agencies.

Thats not too surprising... doesn't the BBC receive funding from compulsory licence fees in the UK? I think it would cause some outrage if their news wasn't deemed consistently neutral.

BBC is left leaning for America. It might be neutral for Britain though.
