He has only completed 8 games in the last two months.

I know it's within the rules but maybe it's time to change the rules. Everybody else in the top 10 completes games regularly. They are earning their rating, not just gaming the system.

But I will happily carry on being a turtle on the 1v1 ladder, I don't want to play multiple 1v1 ladder games at once.

At least he's playing constantly on the ladder, he doesn't stall losses as far as i know and he's no alt. Go on.

In fact he's one of the few players who didn't stall on the ladder or picked opponents. 11 games in 2months is slow. But can easily happen if you get a matchup vs stalhazi

And even if he chooses to stall what would be the problem with that and who wouldnt in this position ? He won the 1st place and as such deserves his throne. He will still have to meet all other top ranked players eventually so they ll have a chance to make him lose if they can.

that's not the point. stalling is always pity, but i don't see a Problem with what buns does. it's not like he stalls losses. he just Plays slow. also you have to differ between the 1vs1 ladder and the seasonal.

Am I the only one who realises that if you play 1 game at a time it's impossible to manipulate the ladder?

Stalling only works if you play more than 1 game at a time and stall the games you're losing in.

There's nothing wrong with focusing on 1 game at a time. Billy, you are able to do that too, and if you beat everyone including Buns, you will be entitled to that 1st place and I will salute you just as much as I do Buns.

Extrapolating on Billy Walsh's logic all the players that haven't changed in rank for the last week are manipulating the ladder. (I didn't feel like checking how many games they played. The real problem is the not change in rank. How else can we 'other' people get the trophy?) In fact they have prevented me from getting that gold trophy since a 21 win streak still leaves me behind them all 7 top "cheaters"

~The solution is to start a movement and throw away the old elite and make room for new ones. Lets start by giving me the trophy :D

Anyway, Walsh has a point that just sitting at the top is possible once you have enough unexpired games. Buns real crime is winning games. Personally I would support a change to remove the min 1 game option, and keep it at a minimum of 2. I do think that could increase the mobility in the ladder (assuming that is what we want.)

TL:DR The ladder system can be improved. How? Well, lets bug fizzer for a poll xD

i just joined the 1v1 ladder and i didnt have the option of 1 game at a time min was 2 games at a time so maybe fizzer listened to you TBest

@You get the option of min 1 game when you have 30 unexpired finished games.
