So Timinator couldn't help but show me his game, which has full intel. 12 turns, 1 card piece each player, and both playing defensively since a single elimination in any of the three spots would spell doom. Basically, this is Portugal/Croatia all over again. Kill us now.

Oh wow, definitely some interesting developments in this group! Ollie beats JV! Metatron beats Ollie! Which sets up two pivotal final games. If Ollie can beat both MoD and Verzehrer, then he can steal the group win from JV! Unfortunately, Metatron's win prevents MoD from being able to take the top spot, but a win clinches 2nd and a promotion to group B. Maréchal Lannes is doomed to demotion. Metatron will sneak into 3rd place if he can beat Maréchal Lannes and Ollie loses one of his final games (or Ollie can lose both final games and Metatron gets third regardless)
