why doesn't anyone make a clan in which there are parties which fight elections to determine who will be the clan leader and form the clan government?

AOE has a democracy. We don't have parties, but I am sure that an active player like you could easily form a party if he put his mind to it. Since anyone can run provided they get a few supporters, it isn't too difficult for new members to gain a seat in our Senate, provided they are dedicated. What you consider democracy is just only bourgeois supression! Join the Soviet Union! It is fair, fun and a stable system.

I would join them if they weren't filled with noobs.

i'm not asking about joining.i'm already in a clan and i'm pretty happy in it.i just want to know why the party thing never occurred to anyone.

As far as i know only diplo clans got hierarchies. Except darklords. They got their overlord

The Wolves had that a long time ago. They just don't work out because clans aren't really analogous to governments and are more like companies.

the former UN clan tried to become a democratic clan, it worked for some months: leaders were elected regularly, but it could not keep this way, one day someone was elected and hijacked the clan, removed everyone and annihilated the clan. This is why there is few democratic clan, this is partly because the current clan system sucks, we made uservoices and asked for some improvements but nothing happened yet.

Parties are an evolution of Democracy, they are not Democracy by themselves as you title/1st statement would seem to imply. They actually restrict Democracy as a whole but are very effect at winning votes. Ergo why they are in most(all?) Democracies round the world.

the wacos will fund a democratic based clan on the following conditions

1. u r pledged to waco
2. i have the clan manager and no1 else
3. i vet ur members
4. a portion of your members join the wacos
5. i run ur democratic system

these r the conditions for the creation of ur clan.......
