I like this board a hell of a lot better. We got an income edge and the card and superior position.
I was hoping Imp would hit argentina with less so we'd get a better result.
BTW - In addition to the other reasons cited -- Imp's real intent is to take SA. It's the been the bonus in play since the start and Imp has deployed 100% of his income to hold his blocks and try and take it every turn since the start. He loses if we get it and reverses position if he takes it. Which is why I keep voting against squandering resources on ventures elsewhere on the map.
Without looking at the options my thought is that we can afford to set a good block in Argentina and make another move elsewhere this turn. I like heading south in Greenland or going for South America -- but not both. Because if we go to SA we'll be putting all our income there for the next few turns anyway so why not use the extra 3 there this turn. Also waiting to expand in Greenland gives us time to slide the extra 3 in Scan there.
First question is what's the block? Does Imp have a card? Without a card we need at least 17, with a card we need 21. Anybody know if he gets one this turn (I think he missed 2 card pieces along the way).
If it's 17, then we can send 8 at South Africa. If it's 21 we can send 4. One or the other is what I think is the best option. Since I think he doesn't have one I like:
Deploy 11 argentina and 8 Antartica, Advance the 1 and 2 in Scan and then Attack South Africa with 8.
