Really? No one on Earth died from smoking weed? I call bullshit.
And it isn't about deaths anyway. Potheads are incredibly stupid (I speak from experience), they don't care about anything; they do nothing but think about pot. Smokers may kill themselves, but at least they can function in society.
most people become more addicted and dedicate their lives to the next joint. It's like alcohol - in moderation, it can be fine. However, I find more people become dependent on weed than alcohol.
Gosh, aparently people here understand drugs as well as they understand politics.
Potheads are incredibly stupid
False. In my last school year, we had some 40 students divided in 2 classes. In the top 10 students, really smart, at least 7 smoked weed in a regular basis or smoked it at least once. They're all gonna go to great colleges, I assure you. For the 10 dumbest students, most didn't smoke weed and said that doing that would fry your brains; not smoking weed didn't make them any smarter trust me.
Smokers may kill themselves, but at least they can function in society.
I've met in a party a business man that is very successful and makes shitloads of money. He offered me cocaine, which I did refuse ;), and he told me his craziest stories with every kind of drug you can imagine. Using drugs require a good state of mind and personality, like drinking alchohol (a drug too btw) you must do it with responsability.
However, I find more people become dependent on weed than alcohol.
Again false. The rate of dependency in weed use is arround 1/16 or 6% for teens. If you start drinking in your teens the chance that you become an alcoholic is arround 16%. Also people see dependency in a wrong way. Any kind of dependency is usually a consequence of your social interactions and state of mind, and you can get away from dependency with adequate help. Drugs aren't for the weak, but only for the strong of mind.
About drug addiction and recovery, there's a very interesting experiment that was made on rats:
