Market dynamics result in the rich getting richer, the poor getting so poor they can no longer afford food. In fact, the US lacked a minimum wage before the great depression due to the Supreme court striking it down.
Secondly, telling someone that they have a certain value increases consumer confidence, and expands consumer spending, which in turn expands the economy(this is called a boom cycle)

community college is notoriously cheap. not enough ppl go there

poor ppl have FAFSA and scholarships to pay for college

get rlly good grades and u can get a full ride in many many cases. even the expensive ivy league schools. u can pay for them

there are ways to pay for college. ur an idiot if ur paying the full bill

trade schools even have options where u dont pay for the school until u land a job. 2 bad no one is going to them

and i already suggested a few mechanisms

1. make college cheaper
2. encourage ppl to enter fields where there are shortage of jobs. ex: nuclear technicians, manufacturing, electrician, carpenter, and so forth. u use the media to make ppl know that these jobs exist. and u give proper incentives for ppl to actually take these programs instead of shoving college down ppl's throats
3. provide free classes on investing, and financial responsibility. lot of these resources exist in the internet but making these mandatory in HS will help the poor
4. teach ppl to major in profitable majors. things like engineering, elevator repair, and so forth. dnt major in gender studies or ur getting your ass broke

note how u dont need the minimum wage to get the poor have more money in their pockets. u dnt have to give them food stamps. all u gotta do is find ways to get them good jobs
