for the first time this morning, if i try to join a game (or re-open current multi day games) something pops up saying "Oops! WarLight encountered data corruption. This could be caused by network software, like a VPN, that interferred with WarLight's communication with the server. This could also be caused by corruption on your local disk store.

To clear your local storage, click Help and search for 'Local storage'."

i already tried clearing my local storage, which did nothing, and my network software hasnt changed recently as far as i know. im not really sure what to do now and i'm in a team game tournament that id rather not be booted from so any ideas to fix this would be appreciated.

Searching through the forums, it looks like this happened a few times before, always after an update (and WL just got updated).
Things you can try if you already cleared your local storage thing:
1) A different browser
2) https://www.warlight.net/reportbug
3) Send Fizzer a PM or E-mail

If you have a smartphone you could download the warlight app to save yourself from booting.

same problem can it be fixed?

I am also having this issue and cannot seem to resolve it.

same thing happens in chrome (i use firefox normally), i reported it and if nothing happens i'll email fizzer. for now i'll just download the app to finish my mutli day games.

2 hours ago I could play via my Chrome browser. Now I get the sorry an error has occurred message. IE appears to be working though... Did something change in that short amount of time?


EDIT: Shortly after I posted this, IE started giving the same error message. I emailed the address provided in the error message and received a prompt response. Shortly thereafter, the game was restored, and all was right again with the world. Thank you, Fizzer!
