I have never gotten the gall of folk who ask for how anarchism will work. Anarchism wasn't responsible for WW1, WW2, the cold war, the war on terror. Anarchism wasn't responsible for slavery, serfdom, indentured servitude or other forms of forced labor. Anarchism wasn't responsible for the Armenian Genocide, Holocaust, or Holodimir. So the burden of providing proof, rests with statists, and they must provide proof for the value of organizing society through violence (government). Proof that government can be moral, peaceful, efficient and just, since it has seemed to be the opposite throughout history.

I was responding to The Lord's thread, just to (*collects $hill paycheck*) correct the record. You don't exactly see me regularly starting shit and cluttering the OT forum.

Point is, if you're looking for a real debate on whether or not the state should exist, there's tons of better communities for that than Warlight OT. I have no idea why you'd decide to make the same argument a billion times here unless you just want to clutter OT.

You cannon just say that because states fought world wars, therefore statism is bad. You have to provide a better alternative. If you cannot provide a model that works even in theory, then discussion is pointless.

You are confusing Anarchy with Civil War.
Anrchy doesnt essentially have to lead to Civil War, but unfortunately it often does.
Anarchy (Like Communism) only works in smaller populations like tribes, villages or families. While in structures with millions of people it (almost) always causes disorder.

Government hasn't wiped out 2/3 of the population of earth, government hasn't wiped out the universe, government hasn't purged the earth of almost half of its life.

There's a lot of things government hasn't done that is bad, we can play the same game.

The fact is, for every point you bring up that anarchism hasn't done, there's 3 things that government hasn't done. In fact, there's an infinite number of points to bring up about each pro-anarchism point if we used "haven't" arguments, due to the nature of infinity and "haven't".
