What if the king takes away the right for people to overthrow or criticize the monarch? Then you're left as the Russian Empire- a few elites who are elite because they were the children of elites. And everyone else is a peasant.

All absolute monarchies are like this. They grow decadent, and slowly rot away. The Ottomans, Byzantines, the Romans, the Russians, the Spanish, the Austrians... all proud "western civilizations" (except for the Turks).

Great Britain was a constitutional monarchy. Grew into the largest empire in history. But became that way with a parliament. And in your mind, giving the common person any say leads to Jewish domination of a society, and letting those "filthy negros and Moors, and those buck-tooth gooks and Nips".

Rome was a republic for more than 100 yrs when it fell, The Ottoman empire was a constitutional monarchy, Byzantines fell because they were at war with another Kingdom, Russia fell because of a powerful minority of usurpers, no evidence Spain lost its empire BECAUSE it was a monarchy, Austria lost its empire because it lost a war.
