Speech and commands:
In this game, I don't give you A options, B options or C options. You enter in commands, and when you want to speak, you answer/question in quotation marks. When outside, your main means of getting around is saying north, south, etc, and I will describe what is visible to you to the north, south, etc. When inside, your main movement commands will be entering/exiting doors, broken walls, etc. You can open your inventory by asking, open things by asking, activate things by asking, check your hunger, thirst, sleep, and radiation by asking, etc. To initiate combat, three ways are possible. One, you are attacked first. Two, you attack first. Three, you initiate combat without getting the drop on your foe. A reminder, there are always multiple paths in a quest.
Character creation:
Tag three skills. Tagging a skill will make you more proficient in this skill. All skills that are tagged advance faster than other skills. Skills advance by you practicing them. You can advance a skill to 300, at which point, you're really good at it.

Traits: Traits are perks that give you a advantage and disadvantage. You can choose two, one or none, but I advise you to pick at least one, to change up the game. Traits available to pick are:
Four eyes: Your vision is blurry when you don't have glasses on, but when you have glasses on, your vision isn't blurry, and everyone thinks you're really smart. (Gives speech options.)
Portly: With this, you move slower (mostly effects combat), but food and drink weighs nothing.
Suicidal: You have a subtraction of 3 DT, but your first attack in a session of combat is always critical.
Insanity: You hallucinate, and sometimes do the wrong things, but in combat these wrong things often leave your foe resembling a radroach under a super mutants foot.
Idiot Savant: Folk often treat you like you're a child, but you get to tag a fourth skill(has to be science, repair or medicine.)
Combat: Each turn of combat, you have 7 action points. Action points are used for moving around in combat, firing, reloading, looking in backpacks and hitting things.
Movement: You don't have objective markers here, you have to follow directions told to you, or on your map.
Consuming food & drink and sleeping: You have meters for food, drink and sleep. If you don't eat food, drink enough, or sleep enough, you will die.
Radiation: Consuming radiated food or drink, or staying in a radiated area will give you radiation poisoning. The more radiation poisoning you get, the less action points you get in combat, until you just end up dying at 1000 rads.

Now, whoever wants to play has to follow a few rules. No doubleposting and don't try asking me directly for advice, I won't give any, ask someone in the game or another person playing the game. No this is not a rehashing of the Fallout 3 story, this is different, it just takes place in DC, and doesn't use Fallout 3 stuff for the lore and setting here.

You are sitting in a deer hide tent. In the middle of the tent is a fire. The smell of the burning wood fills your nostrils. A man sits behind the fire. He stares at you. He is an old man, with a shaved head. On his body are various markings, all in red paint.
"There comes a time in the life of all sons of the tribe who are born under the hiding sun, where they must pass a trial to prove their right to be in the tribe. Your trial, is to go to the invisible fire grounds, far to the east, on the river Potomac. There, you will find men with no skin. You will kill one, and bring his head back to me. Then your trial shall be complete. Do you have any questions?"

"The river is to the east. I have never been to it, but when you get to it, just follow it east. Then you should find the invisible fire grounds. The invisible fire grounds are what's left of an ancient city, built by the gods. The gods got mad at each other, and attacked each other with javelins filled with invisible fire. They rained down on the city, and turned it to ash and flattened it. Then the invisible fire filled the area. The men with no skin are kept alive by the invisible fire. I have never seen one, but I have seen a head of one. It is now just a skull, but it was ugly. Anymore questions?"

"Well, talk to Martha for the water. She's by the well in the middle of the village I think. "
You exit the tent. You are in the middle of the village. In the center, there is a well, with Martha there, sitting in a chair. She's a frail old woman. There are two large tents on two sides of the middle of the village. One, to the south, is the cooking tent. The other, to the north, is the warrior tent. To the west, is the tribal chief's tent, and behind it is the various homes of the tribefolk.
It is the first of March, and spring is beginning to peak into the world. The year is 193AW, according to the tribal calendar. You have a strong feeling that something important happened in year 0, but you can't be sure.
