On an unrelated note. Is there any, ANY hope of 50 player games?

Can you explain why i have to pay 30% taxes if i want to withdraw coins? Afaik i wouldn't have to pay taxes for small amounts of money due to tax agreements between the usa and switzerland.

Also i'd have to pay taxes for a withdraw that happened almost one year ago if i withdraw any coins at that point.

Why was that change nowhere announced on the blog?

Will we ever see a overhaul of the mail system? In it's current state there's no way to add/remove a player, which mean's you'd have to recreate a entire mail thread should you forget someone.

There's no way to delete mail on your own, this problem became clear when 1416 spammed almost everyone who used the OT forums, and since he created a new account almost every time, blacklisting didn't help. I know you guys helped and deleted most of the spam mail, but it was just time that could of gone into further developing the game wasted on a troll that all of us could of easily stopped if we had this simple feature.

From the ToS:

C. Robots not allowed for game playing.
Users agree not to use or launch any automated system except via warlight APIs defined at http://warlight.net/api that accesses WarLight's website, including but not limited to systems that attempt to automatically play the game, create games, communicate with other Users, or mine data.

Have you investigated the unsolicited spam messages many players received from accounts suspected of belong to 1416/name is anonym, including ilovecats and his main? Have you found any evidence of automation (such as closely timed messages, anything interesting about the request headers)? Has any action been taken?

Moreover, I've noticed that, under this section of the ToS, mining data without using the Warlight APIs is prohibited. Since that appears to technically prohibit web scraping, do you plan on enforcing the rule strictly- or modifying it in any way- in the near future?

Fizzer, what is your opinion on making a one time subscription fee along with annual subscription fees? Also, could you make game modes specifically for subscribers (annual or otherwise) that only they can play (I believe this would increase the amount of subscribers for you).

You mean Members? There used to be a Lifetime Membership option earlier.

can you please make a poll to increase number of templates on realtime ladder?
i'd like to see them increased to 12 or 15. several other warlight members have agreed that it would be beneficial to the realtime ladder.

Could we have a poll to increase the number of templates for 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 ladders also? It would be amazing to have different templates on each of theses ladders, just like we have already for the RT ladder. A diversity of templates would make things more interesting and more competitive in the sense that it is easier to be an expert on one template, harder to adapt to a pleatoria of templates.

It would be nice ladder's structures become similar to Clan League, mainly concerning the number of templates per type of ladder:

1v1: 6 templates
2v2: 3 templates
3v3: 2 templates

Any chance a forum overhaul is in the road map? Trolling and just OT talk has become so large that most strategic players simply avoid the forums all together. You may think it does not matter, but we have seen a steady decline in maturity with posters who simply exist just to troll.

They are not warlight players that post, but posters who play warlight some. This trend will continue to drive some once great contributors away IMO.

I agree with Simi and Chris. There is a lot of trolls and disrespectful people in the games and on the forums. Temporary bans aren't enough for multiple offenders in my opinion. It is hard now to exchange intelligent content with the other good players with all that waste on the forums. The MD ladders should be more diversify like Simi said too.

Is there a way that you can make a game name stick in your template. I have to spell out the game name all the time now. Is there a way to make it a dedault which isn't: Terminator's Warlight game?

@ Terminator you can. Create a new game, put a name, modify settings to include a current template if you want to, then save it. But to save the name it has to start from Create a game, not load a template.

@ others, is it possible to have some decent questions for Fizzer ? Im afraid he will stop those AMA otherwise. :-))

@ Fizzer any chance you look at this thread https://www.warlight.net/Forum/156496-features-wishlist-fizzer-muli at some point and advise if you would implement some of the wishes there anytime soon ? A more precise answer than "yeah that sounds a good idea, I could implement it some day" would be appreciated too.
