Books often feel nicer to read, but it's nice searching in pdf's can be a lot faster. And pdf's save paper so I would say pdf's > books.

PDF all the way. I'm too distracted by the awful lot of effort to keep the book open to care about it's soul. PDFs don't close on their own when left around. Nor get damaged due to mistreat. Nor occupy space. Nor get dusty and make me sneeze/cough if they are too old. Nor are heavy and annoying to carry. Nor destroy environment for no reason. 3:

The state clearly depends on how it's run. Scandinavia isn't more aggressive towards LGBT people despite having bigger states than e.g. USA and Eastern European countries, there's no linear relationship, or take some African countries that are literally anarchy yet still have death penalty. On the other hand there's a clear relation between how religious a country is and how hostile it is towards LGBT people. Religion is the main problem that needs to be solved.
