kinda becomes more of a which do you want more, your friend or your points

there are 3 ways to get points:
win games in multiplayer
getting achievements
beating single player levels or getting the gold star on them

Just make an alt and have it surrender if you really care

If you invite your friend there is a way to get XP from that, if they register that you were the one who invited them.
